I called them this afternoon and they mentioned that the DRL globes are a bit short in supply.

I have the car going in for paint protection tomorrow, will be booking in some time for the globes to be changed next week and hopefully post pictures after.

Wow doesn't sound like the guy is really interested in offering us a discount at all. So much for 10% off. That's $5 off and your paying cash, so no credit fee for him. And with the delay that's a bit frustrating, not his fault of course. Sounds like someone in Europe is buying them all out and will resell at a higher price. I shouldn't have told the Europe forum. :( sorry guys.

Before I place an order with Blingworkauto (VIC) for the $194 package, could someone give me an idea of the degree of difficulty in DIY installation of the LED package on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the most difficult, particularly in respect of the DRLs. I may have missed earlier posts providing this sort of information, however, your indulgence would be greatly appreciated.

I cant give first hand opinion of that until my car arrives unfortunately. However.... simple globe changes are usually pretty straight forward.

NOTE!

The Blingworkauto package does come with a few lines of instruction included in the box.

As follows:

"- Both P13W/H16 LED replacement unit has Red rubber ring, which can be taken off and replaced with the factory P13W/H16 red rubber ring in order to make tighter fitting.

- We have noticed on rare occasion where LED P13W/H16 red rubber ring is too soft but the simple red rubber ring change will improve the fitment."

which also seems pretty straight forward, if its even necessary.


Im sure there are youtube videos, (maybe diode dynamics) which show the installation procedures of similar globes, if thats what you would like to double check.

This still isn't a particularly easy fix, you have to remove the bottom pan to get to the fog light housing in the first place

You don't, you pop out the plugs on the wheel arch liner and go in through there.
