Can anyone tell me how to turn off the fogs lights?

You are probably seeing the DRL's - not the fog lights - they are both contained within the the same housing on the 2016-2017 and would remain on unless you switch your parkers/headlights on.

I suspect that you would need a FORScan to change their behaviour.
