I need to know if the blue wire in the back of the car stays on while the engine is off and the radio is still on. Installing amp today so need this info. I do sometimes listen to the radio when parked so if that blue wire goes dead when you turn the engine off that is no good.

If you're referring to the wire in the harness in the trunk that runs to the speakers in the rear deck, I used it for the remote wire for my sub amp. When I kill the engine, the sub goes off with it.

That is the air conditioning clutch fuse. Odd.

Ah I see it is the cabin fuse #23. #33 is for the radio head unit, I will look at that one too.

I used:

#23 Switches. Power windows. Rear-view mirror

I use it for my amps as turn on, remote cable.

it stays powered after you turn off the car n shuts off when you open the door. The same way as the power windows.

PS. #23 is NOT hot at all times, I have had my car wire that way for about 6 months
I like being able to listen to the radio after I turn off my car.
As soon as I open the door ( w/ the car off ) the radio n amps will turn off.

Well I used 23 and it does work with the ignition on and/or accesory on. There is a way however to run the radio with the door open and in that scenario the sub won't work.

If the key fob is in the car and the door is open, you can push the power button on the radio (actual dash button) and the radio will come on. Nothing else will work, windows fan etc. The 8" display will work as well. Fuse 23 is not hot however so no sub.
