Actually they ride just like stock. Keep in mind, the "35" is a percentage of the width of the tire in mm. so where a 255/40 has a 102mm sidewall, the 285/35 has a 99.75mm sidewall. That 2.25mm in sidewall thickness is barely a difference.35's. Wow, those must ride like a stage coach.![]()
Now for the rears, oem 275/40 have a 110mm sidewall, vs the 99.75mm. That is more of a difference at 10.25mm skinnier sidewall. However, this smaller overall diamter will unleash the full potential of my 3.73 gearing. Remember, the Boss 302 came from the factory with 285/35r19 in the rear, and the same 3.73 torsen differential as the Performance Pack
