Hey all,

Ordering my Ngauge soon but contemplating how I want it mounted in the car. I see they sell a windshield suction cup mount, a vent clip mount and I also see people install it in their air vents. Is it difficult to install it in the vent? I would really rather not have to see wires attached to it. Can you guys post pics of your set ups? Thanks!

With the windshield mount you can make it so you really don't see much of the wire. You can tuck most of the wire into the crease between the dash and A pillar and the extra wiring under the dash. It looks very clean that way in my opinion.

Let us know if you have any other questions and we'll be glad to help you out.

Thanks,
Jared

I mounted mine in the Middle-Driver's side vent. I took the Trim Panels off, popped the vent out, wrapped the back of the nGauge with electrical tape so the hole had something to grip on and stuck it in the vent hole. Fits like a glove. Doesn't move, jiggle or anything.

So, installing the NGuage in the A/C vent can be done without ordering any extra parts? It's as simple as removing the plastic panel and putting it in?

Yes very easy... Unless you break some of the small blue clips behind the dash, there isn't anything else you need
