Ive dug through most of these posts looking for all i could but none of the nitrous threads had any information really. Im wanting to run a 150-200shot of nitrous on my S550. I have the Nitrous Express plate kit, 1 step colder plugs LU47 injectors and trying to pickup a JMS controller. Now ive seen a few say run a boost a pump with pump gas and some say dont. Anyone have experience with E85? Boost a pump needed? What else is needed/recommended?

If anyone is running it what kind of power are you putting down (E85 or 93)? What size shot? What setup? What times did you put down at the track?

Any information is greatly appreciated.

Who is tuning your setup? You'll most likely need a BAP for a 200 shot and E85. At least you have the fuel injectors already.

Either Lund or a local shop. Hes a great tuner. I was thinking probably BAP cause as we know it uses more but wasnt sure if at 150 it would be needed. I figured at 200 it would regardless.

If you're running E85 you WILL need a BAP. On pump gas I wouldn't want to run over a 150 Shot anyways. I'd look into going E85 and grabbing a BAP if you want that 200 shot.

I was running E85 and a 150 shot on my 2011 GT, you will need the BAP and the 47's as well as the correct tune of course. I am also planning on doing the same thing you're doing to my s550. I just picked up my injectors, still holding off on the nitrous kit until spring.. .keeping my eyes open for the best deal on a JMS BAP. IF I could get my hands on that JMS nitrous controller I would grab one of those as well.

When ever there is a doubt with the fuel system. Always choose to upgrade it. You will never regret upgrading it you will if you don't.

You're going to want the JMS fuel max along with the injectors if you plan on running E85 with that setup.

That's what Lund Racing will recommend or require for them to tune the car.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks, Jared

I already have LU47s hopefully that is fine. I can pick up a fuelmax if needed which i was kind of figuring it would be.

It's not worth risking it with the injectors alone which is why Lund recommends the Fuelmax in addition to the injectors.

If you have any other questions or need assistance placing an order for the JMS unit please feel free to give us a call.

Thanks, Jared

The 47's will be more than adequate.

Thanks, Jared
