I understand its a novelty tune and you probably shouldnt daily it with the cammed tune but are there any (long term) negatives or consequences to your motor with this tune?

We haven't seen any negative affects when running the cammed tune so far and don't believe there will be any long term issues either.

Let us know if you have any other questions

Thanks!

Novelty or not, I think it sounds badass. That's the only plus to a pushrod motor to me is the way they sound with a cam. I get the best of both worlds. As for people laughing because of my novelty cam idle, it's ok because im sure I will get a few laughs in with 700 to the wheels.

Emailed Lund this morning and this cammed tune is NOT an option with S/C. So I cannot get it.

Cammed tunes now available for the 2015-2016 GT automatics!

Give us a call if you guys have any questions or would like to place an order. Thanks!!
Any drivability issues with the Cammed tune? I have heard of stalling if you stop to fast and other issues of Cammed tune and automatics.

I've never heard Lund say the ghost cam tune wasn't safe for daily driving. Manuals fair better with the ghost cam tune than autos. At least better than bone stock autos not making much extra power, they lug and buck at low rpm, or if cruising causes the car to shift at low rpm.

As for not being available for supercharged cars, that's bs, Beefcake has ghost cams on his supercharged automatic lol.

I would definitely say no way to the cam tune for automatic cars because if it starts camming, when you come to a stop you lose some brake pressure/power, also, it can stall out when you stop quickly, that's not ideal for traffic. If you are driving along at certain speeds that cause the car to drop into a gear up, the rpm might drop low enough to cause stuttering and bucking at speed. So on auto cars, definitely not safe for driving. For manual cars, works like a charm, as long as you're not creeping in traffic or thru parking garages.

They're fine for daily drivers if you have a cat delete.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought you can add or delete the cam tune.
I'll use it when I'm not at the drags.

I get mine Wednesday so I'll give some feedback on daily driving it by the end of the week. I'll try everything everyone was saying as well to see what happens (fasts stop, cruise are low rpm, etc...)

Cammed tune on my auto sounded awesome while in park. RPMs surged when at low speeds and at stop lights sometimes.

I confirmed with Lund that they don't troubleshoot the cammed tune, so after a week I switched back to the normal tune.
