How many have ordered and still waiting?

Personally as a sales manager, if you called and offered $5k over I'd probably tell you it can't happen, and try and bring you in to pay the full adm.

If you walked in and showed initiative and we could count on selling a car that day - you'd have a much better chance.

I visited three different dealerships and offered to write a check on the spot for MSRP (plus tax,fees, etc.). Was turned down all three times. The one I have ordered is at $1000 over MSRP, so I'll wait I guess. I did send my dealer an email asking if I could pass on the '16 and apply my deposit to a '17. Haven't heard back yet.

We wouldn't have taken an MSRP deal here either, but like I said you have a much higher chance at a lower price if you're there not on the phone. And most dealers would rather you finance anyway, so don't offer it as a cash deal until you have your deal in place.

Today was a great day. The car was finally delivered around noon! I've had a smile on my face ever since! The 6+ month wait was certainly worth every second!

I got the good news today that my car was built yesterday, as scheduled (2/23), and already has been released for shipping. ETA is about 30 days.

I hope the quick release means that all the Flat Rock holds have been handled and the rest of you guys waiting for cars will get them soon.

That didn't happen. The car was stuck on a broken down rail car, as best I can tell, for about 10 days. The rail car was already at the final rail yard, but it just sat their. It was released to the auto transport company with a new ETA was FEB19-25. Tomorrow is the 25th...no word yet. The rail yard is 2 hours away!:shrug:

Good news. I can only hope mine will be scheduled soon. Going on 9 months since order date.
