I don't know why people bother with the Ibiza. Is the finance out of this world or something? For simmilar money you could buy almost the exact same car as a Skoda Fabia, Audi A1 or VW Polo. Skodas are fantastic cars (the Superb lives up to its name).

Oh I'm not talking fake calipers - literally fake disks that fit between the wheel and the hub.

I wouldn't dare.
Looks alone, I don't finance any of my cars, i was going to buy the Ibiza in cash before I got the Corsa instead (paid cash), will pay for the Mustang in cash too.

It's down to Insurance for someone my age more than anything, A1/A-Class/1-Series is WAY more on insurance, and i'd be getting an older age car, my corsa is 2011, cost 7k, looking to resell about 5k (but aint looked into it atm).

Omg, that's, literally, CarAids. EWWW! WTF
SteveS that's why you bought a beamer, you're just a more mature chav!!!
I wouldn't have called you a peasant, maybe a pr1ck... Even being a big lad that you were

Yes but those are lights and a wing - not fake brake disks and fast and the furious A-Pillar pods whilst being totally convinced your car was legitimately faster. Two very different camps.
As I say, simpler times. I couldn't say for definite I wouldn't have had those discs had they been available ;) Was fairly realistic about the capabilities of the Escort however.

Sounds like there's quite a few of us on the forum who will be shipping on the Tarago now! :)

Yeah the clues in it's name, that's all it was good for . That's the female kind, not the police kind.

Try and remember you're still the one driving the Corsa ;)

Join the queue...
Not by choice, it'd be a Mustang had it been built in November like it was supposed to, we're all Mustang owners here / future mustang owners, just driving something till they come!

Nope, jumping to the front, Steve you prick hahaha (jokes mate !)

Bingo.
Most of the things chavs find cool on their cars are a direct result of F&F. So not only do we have to deal with a terrible series of films (IMO), we also have to deal with eBay specials running down the road.

Just to throw the cat amongst the pigeons.....

The max power years were some of the best years on the car scene.
Big kits, neons, and huge sound systems.

Not the usual dub parade of bbs reps, air/hydro and reek out the back.

Tokyo Drift was the best one, they may be crap but I still end up watching them even if they have nothing to do with cars anymore.

I really can't stand the Max Power brigade. Sorry mate.
You're free to like them but whenever I see a Max Power/Chav rocket/rice burner I just laugh and wonder if the owner is blind.

Kkakon's S550 is a great example of a well done, tastefulfully modified car - the mods actually serve a purpose and look beautiful:

Your typical Max Power car looked like........ this........

Sorry what I meant was back in the 90s it was a great look. It set out where the car scene went from there. But the craic and the best shows were back then.

They look tacky as hell now but they aren't the usual cookie cutter mods that people go with on dubs etc

Oh lord. I'm surprised that is even on a detched house/semi-okay looking neighbourhood, not the inner streets of east London, Manchester or any other detelict chav infested sess pool. (Talking the really rough chav area's of these places)

It's totally not a direction I would go with modifying the mustang by any means but the 90s were my 'heyday' and introduction to modified cars.

Oil spread on car parks and raking the shit outta corsas and novas. Escort cosworths racing the streets and making friends who I've done loads of shows with since.

The plastic bumpers and isopod looks terrible now but it shaped the car scene in Northern Ireland and across the whole uk.

Maybe I'm just rose tinted about it!!
