black emblems

how many of you have swapped for black 5.0 emblems on the side but kept the front and rear stock. does this look stupid or out of place?

I swapped my front and sides while I decided what to do with the rear and it really bugged me. Ended up plastidiping the rear.

I replaced all 4 of mine with black ones. I'm anti-chrome.

Plastidipped sides and rear, left the front chrome. I'm more pro-Mustang than anti-chrome, I guess. Obviously, I don't think it looks stupid.

I replaced the front and sides and have a FRPP emblem delete panel in the back.

I swapped my 5.0s to matte black and painted the period in them from red to guard.

Front emblem went bye-bye when I swapped my grille but I still have the 50 years faux gas cap on the back with the chrome in it. I think a touch of chrome can still be pulled off on an otherwise blacked out car (lug nuts are still chrome too).

any issues running eBay ones made for the 15 and up. 25 bucks shipped is hard to beat

Where did you guys get your 5.0 black emblems from? CJ's price seems pretty steep, but ebay ones that I could find don't look the same style wise...

I bought mine from UPR.

There is the old 5.0 badge style that you might be seeing.

Ford themselves now have a black accent package, so some of mine I ordered from them. The black grille pony is on national backorder. :-(

Found some 5.0 black badges in 2015 style on Amazon for cheap! Get on it

I ordered mine a month ago when I purchased the car. I have since done the rear GT, and the side 5.0 badges. still waiting on that grille pony. But there are aftermarket solutions. I just figured in this case, I'd get the OEM ford one.

I know a lot are not a fan of the only chrome on the car being the emblems. I'm all for the minimal look. I did the ford racing blank decklid, with gloss black sides and matte black pony to match the grille finish
