PeterMJ is a tool and has been outed in CF.

Why even mention him?

I swear, reading posts from you seems to be the same recycled GM nut hugging BS.

A car in its first year of competing rarely becomes successful from the start. Hell with all the experience Chevy has in this class with the C5R/C6R and now C7R it would be surprising that they DIDNT win. Oops, they were a mere 3rd place last year (2015)! What beat them? A 6 Cylinder Porsche!

And lol at you thinking the Ford GT wont be sold out. Where do you come up with this stuff?
I'm pretty sure the Ford GT is already sold out. It is phenomenal what Ford did with that car. Absolutely beautiful. It looks like a different car depending on the angle in which you view it. What a beautiful machine it is. :ford: Oh and btw sorry all for the cargasm and being off topic.

Fastest Super Stocker of all time using Ford parts. Not like the Copo Camaro using a 9" Ford rearend. LOL

The fingerprints and smudges on this car make me cringe. Get some damn detailers out there to fix it. Not sure if you guys have seen the interior yet but the recaros look pretty cool. Sorry for the gigantic pic.

Hmm... Is it just me or do those Recaros remind you of a fat guy in a jacket..?

They look weird to me...

Might just be the angle/lighting.

If you can't tell the difference you should probably go to the eye doctor.
The Chevy Camaro boys did the same as the Dodge Challenger boys and just change the grill and taillights and call it a 2016. LOL.

Ford is not going for a overall win because they are in the GTLM class. It will be great for a win but not sensational. They are not going after the top dogs. Like I said Corvette has won this class 8 times. Who the hell will fork over $400K for a Ford GT. I had a new 05 Ford GT but will not be in this market .....even if my application was accepted. I don't even think the 1% crowd understands this car.
One more thing on this Voodoo engine it's not a proven reliable product yet. I parked my money too see what shapes up over the next couple of years. Hell even a used 17 NSX might be the fix.
I could be wrong but I believe the 4 Ford GT's will be running in the GTE Pro Class at Le Mans. Whatever class the Ford GT's will be running in at Le Mans there will be a lot of excitement in the Ford camp and also with us long time Ford enthusiasts. I also like the car numbers that Ford has assigned to their 4 cars namely 66, 67, 68 and 69. Certainly no coincidence with these 4 cars numbers.

As far as forking over ~$400K for a Ford GT, well we will get our chance to fill out a questionnaire in March and I can tell you if I am lucky enough to get chosen by a Ford committee for one of these outstanding supercars I will do everything that I can to make it work.

As far as only 1% of the crowd understanding the new Ford GT and it's complexities how can you expect any of us to understand this car when it hasn't even been produced yet? With all due respect the 2005/2006 Ford GT's are not even close to being in the same league as this supercar.

The selection process for these 2017 Ford GT's (150 North America/100 worldwide) was to be completed at the end of January and now has been pushed out until sometime in March. The good thing is that everyone gets to fill out the questionnaire application and a Ford selection committee will take it from there.

From a production standpoint the regular production Ford GT is running behind and will not start production until the end of this year and will be completed sometime in early 2017. I also understand that this car will run for a period of 4 years with a total of 1000 cars being built with the 2020MY being the end of this car.

Pricing should be in the $350K to $400K with all selected owners having to sign a binding agreement with Ford stating that they cannot sell their cars for a certain period of time (3 years?). Each chosen owner will specify a Ford dealership of their choice for delivery with Ford confirming that each car will be sold at MSRP thus the binding agreement to be signed by each purchaser thus weeding out a lot of speculators and flippers.

;)

PS: My apologies ahead of time for getting off topic as my intentions were to reply to this poster only but supplied further information on the Ford GT.

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Yea. That's all the Camaro changed. The grill and taillights. You sure showed the Internet. You're so witty and smart.
