Ordered new sofas at the weekend. With a 13 week lead time which is getting here first?!?!? Worryingly my best is on DFS....

You could plant some trees and breed a bull and a cow, watch them grow, get the wood and the leather, make the sofa and have it delivered. All this and it would still arrive before our Mustangs :lol:

Worryingly probably accurate! And yet on another forum someone has just bought a cancelled car and get delivery in 6 weeks as its already on the way...

Knew I should have chased changing mine to a Guard Green car with the local dealer as he had it out back cancelled and waiting for Ford to authorise its sale. This damn Yellow better be worth it!

Knew I should have chased changing mine to a Guard Green car with the local dealer as he had it out back cancelled and waiting for Ford to authorise its sale. This damn Yellow better be worth it!

It will be worth the wait. Only Mustang I have seen out and about was yellow. Looked stunning!!

Yup, mine was due to be built in November (the 9th). It was actually built Jan 12th. Now it's waiting to be dug out of a snowdrift and loaded onto a boat.

Still, I guess it will be worth it in the end.... won't it?

I was going to say our cars are probably sitting almost next to each other given the build date, but knowing Ford's "logistics" they're probably on different sides of the port in entirely different queues...

It'd better be worth it! Hoping the wait will be forgotten once it's on the drive

We could import every part for a mustang, google/youtube the videos (or collectively piece it together) and have it before ours came, probably cheaper too! - [MENTION=17540]NornIron91[/MENTION]

[MENTION=20570]Heretian[/MENTION] Triple Yellow is actually a brilliant colour in person, i've personally only seen it with Stripes and No-custom pack, and if that's what you've gone for, or with the black roof, you will not be disappointed, it's a very very stand out colour, you'll be happy with it (Personal reasons for stripe/black roof, just breaks the yellow up a bit more!)

The only Mustang I have seen was Guard green, it was nice but I think the TY will be even better.

Sometime between 5th and 19th Jan.

Build date on etis is 15th Dec; was told it was built and at gate release on 5th Jan; told it was at the docks on 19th Jan and got the message above today. I only ask every 2 weeks otherwise I'd go "Manders" (OED reference).

Anyone been allocated a K-Line vessel recently? Some of their ships have crossed the atlantic twice while my car has been waiting at the docks! Most people now seem to be getting WWL vessels.

Didn't get the roof added in time before the order was locked in but it has no custom pack so the black wheels and window surrounds are there. I will be adding a black roof and possibly a Super Snake hood stripe in gloss black after delivery and also tinting all lights and reflectors in smoked vinyl except for tail lights which will be going red.

I have a plain GT USA decklid in my office already and will be using Plasti-dip on the 5.0 and Pony emblems. Going Triple Yellow and black. Also probably going to drop it down to GT101 to get a drop put in to sort the ride height.
