This is what I'm ABOUT to do if I can't figure out an easier way. Advice is welcomed. Cut the screws down, drill out the rivet and remove front plate. I guess whatever is behind this is just going to be hanging out on top of the skid plate? Fml I hate that dealers do this crap!

That's not how it's supposed to be mounted - should just be some screws that could be removed from the front. The dealer must have Jerry Rigged up his own method. Maybe the factory screws were stripped out, so they went with the rivets or whatever those fasteners are.

I would, but I can't justify spending anywhere near what that thing costs. I'd rather put that money towards something else and just go with my stock one blacked-out. If it was more like $200-250, then I'd do it.
can't blame ya there. i wouldn't pay that money for it and i own it...i got it dirt cheap, so that's only reason i have it.

i would just leave what you got plasti dipped and save the money lol

A little off topic, but how are your new DWS 06's performing in the snow? I have the same tires, but not that much snow here yet.

I know. First time I've seen this. Not happy about it obviously but will be removing this weekend.

Not bad at all. Good enough that I can parallel park into spots that have hard, impacted slush with a bit of rocking, but still give yourself plenty of room to stop and still take turns conservatively. Overall, I'm very happy with them this past blizzard.

Nice engine bay, almost like looking in a mirror...well except for that red engine cover I got on there. :headbang:

Wow, I don't hear that often lol

It's been fun building the power and handling over the last year but now it's time to make it my own if you know what I mean.

I love watching your build and others and trying to incorporate what I've seen and liked with what I incision.

Keep up the good work!

It's that top view of the engine bay that makes the pulley really stand out. I definitely know what you mean about making it your own. I have been racking my brain trying to do that too, but it can be tough with these cars and their popularity. I appreciate the compliment man, yours has been pretty incredible as well. :clap2:
