No appreciable logic to it. Always wondered if they prioritised vehicles being bought on Ford finance. When I went down to the Edinburgh launch event in November I met the new Mustang guy for the first time and he mentioned unprompted that I wasn't taking finance from them. Pretty sure I only mentioned that in passing 9 months previous yet it was noted on my order.

This didn't affect me; I said when I ordered I wouldn't be financing it, and I actually requested delivery on 1st April, but it came earlier than that so I took it!

I think the build sequence is almost random to be honest...

They didn't ask me how I was financing the car so I don't think it is prioritised like that

Dropped Stacey a quick email today for an update as a chase to last weeks. She replied and news is that there is no update. Build still set for Feb and she should have more details in Feb (Next week) and with in being a short month hopefully it moves quickly. Once built and at the docks she will see if she can help push it through so hopefully it doesn't miss available sailings.

Happier to have been told no update and will await her emailing me next when she has news.

Man maths says 4 weeks to build, 2 to get to docks and 8 for shipment if I am lucky? Possibly April delivery but more likely May.

Nothing showing up on the WWL tracking for my VIN as yet. Although I was told it shipped to port on the 17th January that may just have been when it loaded onto the transporter car at Flat Rock. I think they sit waiting on sufficient vehicles to fill them before they leave for Baltimore.

I have a window sticker. And a blend date of 02/02/2016. All skies looking blue now.

On a plus note, i went on a little drive around derby towards ashbourne and surrounding villages on the weekend, there's some brilliant wide sloping roads around there and i'm definitley taking the mustang, granted, I did kirb an alloy on my corsa.

So you did, at least this time I have a Blend date, window sticker etc, so it's less of seeming lost with information and looks more concrete!

Yes, the Blend date should be the official build date, etis isn't updated yet, but I wouldn't expect it to, some people see a day difference between blend and build date, but a rough estimation is they're both around the same time give or take a day
