What headers did you go with? I'll be changing from BBK 1 3/4" to SP 1 7/8" this weekend. Hopefully the second time around will be a little quicker for me. My new headers are coming tomorrow, ordered them about a week and a half ago. I think the snow affected some of the shipping time though. I actually had a header bolt that somehow backed out and fell out the other day. It left a hell of an annoying exhaust leak. luckily it was the very bottom one near the back of the engine on the passenger side, so it was a quick fix.
Why the switch and did the BBK's fit ok? As of right now I am sold on the SP's, but keep holding off pulling the trigger to get them.
The BBK's fit really good actually. Zero fitment issues. I've said in a couple other threads, I only went with them because I got them at a really good price, way before they came out with their '15+ connection pipes and stuff. The bolt coming out was probably my fault. I never rechecked them after putting some miles on the car. I will say my car felt like it gained loads of torque at the bottom of the rpm range with the 1 3/4" and the lund tune. I originally was just going to do an NA build which is why I had 1 3/4", but since I'm going FI, I wanted to upgrade to 1 7/8". I got a pretty good price on SP from Steve at RDP Store so I decided to put in an order. I've heard nothing but good things about SP, and the subject matter experts on here seem to say good things about them too, so I figured I'd give them a shot.
Definitely check the motor mounts on that :doh:
