Dyno numbers w/Steeda Intake & Borla S Type X

Figured I would share my results from my recent dyno day.

Only mods are Steeda intake and Borla s type xpipe back. Factory tune.
Car is a 2016 GT performance pack

EDIT: I am screwing up the pic post. Numbers are 402/376

No, I didn't have much a chance. I had the Borla s-type already and had it installed the 2nd day owning it.

Because 435 is the factory crank hp number. Not wheel hp

Your actual wheel HP (the metric measured by a dynamometer) on a stock GT is far less than 400.

So this is Ford factory tune? So the car actually gained horsepower with just a CAI and catback with no tune? If so pretty good numbers!

How do you figure that with no baseline?

I assume he's just doing the calculation of motor vs. wheel HP and/or figuring WHP from the factory claimed 435 (even using a slim 12% driveline loss, 402 calculates to ~456 at the engine).

Now for the BIG BUT ...

... without a baseline from the same dyno, it's more likely just a very optimistic dyno**



** I prefer to believe '16 GTPP cars are magically more powerful ...
