Played around tonight with my Cobb AP and the intercooler showed amazing results. I was shocked when I was in boost and my charge air temps dropped like a rock. Awesome! Right above ambient temps. Guys gets an Intercooler as your first mod. You and your engine will thank you. :)

Hopefully I'll be getting mine next month. Can't wait.

Levels is good stuff. I like Nik.

BTW, Did you mean Charge Air Temps or Air Intake Temps? One is not related to the intercooler ;).

Just looked at their site and was wondering just how Direct Bolt On this really is? Any cutting or removing of the vent fins needed? Will it need upgraded pipes too?

It works with factory pipes and you will need to remove your grill shudders.

Great cooler, I've had mine for a while and really like it. Wish he would build charge pipes for it!

Can anyone detail if they've seen a difference in the power of the car in cold weather after installing the IC? I haven't seen my IAT take any hits whatsoever in this 30-40 east coast weather and I beat on the car constantly with the stock IC.

(edit: made a mistake, I was thinking of ATM, not levels; comment redacted)

Love my ATM fmic and I'm not sure numbers wise if the power is affected with the cold weather, but the car sure feels to pull harder

The Levels unit is second to none. I have track, dyno and street data that shows amazing results. We saw a 50+ degree drop in a dyno cell. Temps less than 7* over ambient while 10 minutes into a session at Sebring. During 'hot lap' testing at Orlando Speed World Dragway we saw a peak temp of 104.3f at the end of a THIRD pass. 27psi, 63f ambient, 117mph.

We test it, we race it, we sell it because we know it works.

Can the grille shutters be retained with the levels intercooler?

If your worried about how hard it is to remove them, it's actually not that bad at all, plus you get a weight reduction because the shutters weigh like 20lbs all together. Not sure the weight of the levels though, I haven't notice any loss of mpg either with the shutters gone. Good luck

Nope, nor should you want to. They are there to help (on a VERY minute level) with mpg.
