So got a call yesterday from the finance person at my dealer to discuss options (worth mentioning I requested the call as we still hadn't talked numbers) and at the end of the call I asked if by any chance there was an update on my car, they check and turns out it had arrived.. Like actually at the dealer. 10 mins later the sales guy calls to tell me the car has arrived lol. Couldn't write this shit, probably been there all week.

Anyway, turns out my car is ready for collection but I was in Bristol on Business yesterday and in Iceland from tomorrow for next week so can't pick it up until next sat. Gutted I can't pick it up now but I've waited for what feels like forever for this car so glad to know it's finally here.

Same build date as mine. Do you know if your car's on about yet?
Don't have a clue. Not sure how to find out. Last I heard was that it was on the train heading to the US port (this last work).
From what I read in these forums, a boat was to take a number of cars today. Whether mine will be on there, who knows? Last email from Karen was that she expected delivery to delear around the 2nd week of march.

That's ridiculous, tbh I'm expecting the same from my dealer. "Yeah your car has been here for a few weeks, we meant to ring you" :headbonk:

Some people wonder why I don't trust any dealer with horror stories like this.

Haha, let's just give them the benefit of the doubt. I mean it's entirely plausible that the car actually turned up during my 10 minute call with the financial lady and they were not picking their nose for the weekends Nessie bait but in fact they were on the ball and let me know immediately, the fact that I asked for an update the moment the car rolled in was just a coincidence... :lie::ninja:
ENTIRELY PLAUSIBLE.

Just checked ETIS again. My build date was the 11th, then the 13th, now its the 11th again but my equipment list has expanded to include "Mustang" and "GT".

Which is a relief, its nice to know that a Mustang GT is part of my standard equipment on a Mustang GT.

If it's of any use to you, I found out via the FordService on the US side of this forum that my car had been at US Docks since the 4th of this month. So less than a month from start of production to arrival at docks, with Xmas in the middle is bad by standards. Last I heard from the mustang deliveries email was that they were chancing a list of VINs that were booked onto the next ship(s) out of there, but haven't heard anything since this, which was last Thursday. Hopefully will get on a boat soon, and if so, maybe delivery a little earlier than week 2 of March

Next WWL ship out that calls at Zeebrugge looks like the Glorious Leader leaving on the 20th Jan, then the Tamesis leaving on the 25th Jan.

I'm pretty sure it'll be a K-Line ship. 2 this week I think, one of which is Galveston Highway and seems to have vanished from vessel finders radar! Will be checking my VIN against WWL until I have confirmation, but think it would show up on their tracking system by now if it's been at the port for 2 weeks

I would hope it's the Tamesis, although it leaves 5 days after the Glorious Leader it lands at Zeebrugge a week earlier..

Checked with my dealer this weekend and the delivery date is showing as the 4th Apr - almost exactly 12 weeks for the build date. Sounds like there's not really any improvement to the shipping times...

If your dealer is using Vista it will no doubt be about 2 weeks out of date and calculating delivery based on the 12 weeks from production formula
