Whilst it's a pain in the you know what........this is a safety issue, so Ford won't want to release the car until it's fixed.

I know it's probably a long shot, but you'd be even more hacked off if your lovely new Stang went up in smoke :(

They new it was arriving, I told them. They knew it had the issue, I told them, theyve had it since Monday. And its been over a year waiting. That's why.

They let me collect on Monday and then bring it back Thursday for the mod as the part wasn't in stock.

Needs a heat shield fitting, essentially tin foil and a cable tie.

If it's a brand new car how come it's not been done on the production line? How do I know that mines been done?

Ford ETIS web page, plug in your vin, that will tell you. If yours has only recently been built you'll likely be ok. Mine built in sept.

Suggest check ETIS, and get you dealer to order the part NOW if it's showing a field service for RHD wiring Loom.

I know! I'm inches from owning my dream car! Surely if you can have whine it would be on here with a bunch of blokes that understand! Just frustrated.
