New Mustang so close, yet so far.

Well, as some of you know, I've had a courtesy Mustang for a few months now, following an under bonnet fire back in December. Well, my replacement Mustang is in Southampton, having been shipped over on the same boat as Manders' car! I think he said he gets his this Friday/ Saturday. How the hell did you wangle that?! Mine doesn't get to the dealership until next Tuesday/Wednesday, aaarrrgghhhhhh! This one is Race Red with black roof, 6 spd auto. I am absolutely so excited as, like many of you on here, this one has been made for me and I've been tracking the VIN for ages!
However, I was going to get stripes on it at Norwich, to go all the way down the bonnet and front valence, down the boot and rear valence. On thinking about it, perhaps it will be too much, visually? So what do you lot think?

I was thinking black stripe. The one which is a single stripe with a thin pinstripe either side. Not sure about it now. I'll go without for a few days and then have a rethink! Busseys of Norwich had their Mustang striped by a local vinyl graphics company and it is a really top job.

How did i wangle it, well, pulled a few strings (Also it's a big dealership, and they get a lot of shipments of cars) - Basically, I begged, told them I didn't have a car - which I don't, and basically I think they were sick of hearing from me and wanted to get rid of me.

I'd also asked my dealer to prioritise the car, i'd mentioned this to them before the car got to Southampton, and then chased twice on Monday to make sure, stroke of luck was that it came up on a delivery on tuesday, after they had a batch arrive on Monday.

So to anyone who's waiting on their cars in zeebrugge, chase your dealers! Prepare them to prioritise the car for you, and play sympathy card, that you have no car lol...
