You don’t want to know
You really can't blame the folks at FP. They only can pass along what they've been told by Ford; sometimes, they're as much in the dark as we are.

I'm getting tired of waiting.. Worst ordering experience I've ever had. Ford is a disaster.

Hmmm... How do you know what you're hearing is truth? And if it is, wouldn't internal QA/QC programs that prevent defective cars from being produced be a bonus to the consumer?

Ford is building a brand new car with components that have never been used in any production vehicle ever built in the United States, in limited quantities that have to be spread throughout the model year, and you're upset because you've had to wait a few months to get it? Join the club. We ALL have to wait or pay ridiculous ADMs to get one off the showroom floor that probably isn't the exact car you want anyway. By the time my car is delivered (providing that it's not delayed by this rumored production halt), I will have waited seven months. That's more than half of the model year. But I got a good price, and I'm getting exactly what I want. I don't mind waiting for that.

All I'm saying is do what the rest of are having to do...relax, and know when you finally get yours, it will be worth the wait. :ford:

I have a GT on order and was told it will not be scheduled this week (from Ford and Dealer). So this must mean it's the whole line, they did not say anything about it waiting until February that would suck.

Not an R, standard track pack car, just a small dealer so they dont really have any pull getting theirs built.

I'll have my 2017 Raptor before Ford decides to build the Shelby.

you must not have ordered a hellcat. i went through the hellcat ordeal and this is nothing compared to that. i'm confident if you filled an allocation it will get built, with a hellcat they just cancelled orders already allocated and paid for and told those people to reorder next year. now that is unacceptable.

Still trying to find out if my allocation is a Q4 that's being held up, or a Q1 that won't get pulled for another month or two.

I ordered my GT350 back in October 2015 and put a $1,000 deposit (DIB, Tech, black roof). A month later I stopped by the dealership and the sales manager I was dealing with was no longer there. The new sales manager and GM didn't even know the allocation was mine! I showed them my receipts and they apologized and assigned the allocation back to me. Fast forward to Jan 2016 and the GM called the Regional Rep who told us that the allocations for all the dealers in our area are "Priority 1" whatever that means. They also claimed I can't get a DORA until I get a VIN. Guess I won't get my car for a while longer. No rush though, but now I'm changing my mind on the color...maybe I will change it to a AG, black stripes, black roof...
