This forum will be around for a long long time, heck they still have very active Foxbody and New Edge forums around. I'm still active on a new gen GTO forum and that car hasn't been in production for 17 years. It may be slow nowadays but that's because that car was a very limited run model.

With the S550 having so many owners, this will be an active community for years and years to come.

We're past April Fools, you're late... 😄

This site will always be online because S650 owners will realize they made a mistake in their purchase, they will dump their giant mobile unmodifiable iPad with wheels and will buy an S550.... because THIS is where it's at...

Yep, same here too - member over on VMF…. I have also been a member over on Corral since its inception, and that site is over 25 years old now…. So M6G will be here until at least the Apocalypse…

I imagine it will get slower here but gradually. The V6 section here slowed down pretty fast after the those cars were discontinued, but that's a much smaller population than all S550s.

I'm more concerned about part availability, both OEM and aftermarket. I know the S650 isn't truly a new platform so brakes will be compatible, maybe suspension and other things also.

I think that was also because the V6 isn't very modifiable and most of the owners end up switching to a GT after a while. It didn't help that Ford ended up making the V6 only available with the base trim. A far cry from the S197 refresh in 2011. Back then you could actually get a premium V6 with performance pack. Wonder how incredibly rare one of those is...
