800 whp is easy. having the 10 rib and damper will help the cause.

i made 804 whp and 796 whp both dynojets on a gen 2 whipple 2.9. on e85. 11.6 psi and all i have is full exhaust and oil pump/crank gear on a 1050x injector.

your recipe is 900 whp if you wanna push it. since stock block. keeping it at 800 to 850 (if ballsy) would be wise. it's all in the tune/tuner.

Whipple Gen 3 or D1x Procharger Stage 2!?

I’m trying to decide on a D1x Procharger Stage 2 or a Whipple Gen 3. My 2017 gt in’s a manual. I have kooks long tubes (no cats) hook up to a 3” Borla ATAK. Intake and tune at the moment. Just having some trouble deciding on what set up I want. Help!

My dilemma as well. There just doesn't seem to be any Black Friday deals on the Procharger however. I'm leaning towards the whipple for a few reasons. Mainly my 3.15s feel lazy to me in first and whipple would sure alleviate that problem. I keep trying to find a reason not have my daily be a whipple and I keep coming back to it during these sales.

Choices are hard.... I wanted Hellion Turbo's but they only did a $250 black Friday deal, that helped me make my choice.

Thank you for this information. Looking at a Tig Vision tank to keep it even cooler. I will plan on keeping it less than 850whp.

I looked at Tig Vision, but ended up going with PNR Welding instead. Can't go wrong with either brand, both build quality products.

Could you give more info as why? Cost/quality, fit?
