Which installed Supercharger is the quietest?

As I get older I find that I prefer a nice quiet and well mannered car, at least until I want to have a bit of fun.
Plus, I prefer to be stealthy as much as possible.

I vouch that the tvs on my 2011, with the boxed inlet, is very very quiet. No more noise than stock. Adding an open element filter makes it a bit louder I understand.

I fond myself asking the exact opposite question?

WHICH ONE WHINES THE MOST?

I am interested in the same question. What is the most quiet?
Lots of power but as "stealthy" as possible would be very nice :D

The FRPP/ Roush is going to be the most quiet at both idle, driving and WOT.

The more you add to the system the louder it can be such as an open air filter and larger MAF inlet.

Let us know if we can help you guys out on the FRPP/ Roush kit.

So the centrifugal superchargers are louder than the TVS?

They're not all that bad, actually. You can hear them at idle.

Whipple hands down. Or a straight cut gear ProCharger at idle.

:clap2: God the sound of the straight cut gear centrifugal blower is great! But the roots whine is just as good.

I had a vortech back in the 90's that was so loud you could barely have your head under the good while the engine was running. I loved it!! Lol. I would always get strange looks in traffic and some would comment on how bad my alternator sounded. I loved the sound.
