Guys. Can any of you tell me how to authenticate orig GT500 Mufflers?? Do they have a stamping on the muffler body that would tell me? I might be able to get a pair for 200. If they are the real deal I want to try them with the stock resonator.

I love my Gibson catback. I wouldn't part with the X pipe either. It has a great sound that isn't too raspy.

Mine drones bad, and has plenty of rasp up high. But, I paid 400 bucks for it, so I can deal with it for now.

I guess nobody but me likes the Krona. No rasp, deep tone, has a resonator, no drone.

The Magnaflow Tru-X's do not do much for drone ... they'll just take the raspiness away and smooth out the tone.

i was never a raspy guy. avoided it at all cost on my 2012 GT. on the new one though, I have roush quad tip and x pipe and its most def very raspy, but, i really like it for whatever reason. instead of a deep growl it just SCREAMS

It doesn't seem to get much hype but my Stainless Works has a very nice deep tone. Almost no rasp. I get a ton of compliments all the time. My only gripe is that I would like it to be a bit louder but headers or cat delete will fix that. For those who don't want an extreme volume cat back it would perfect. If only Mac made a three inch muffler. My 14 with the Macs is the best sounding coyote I've ever heard, though it did drone a little at 2000 rpm.

Are you still talking about the resonated version? Cause I think my resonated tru-x helped tremendously on my setup
