We're gonna work on a buddys car and none of us have removed a manifold on an eb before. It should be an unbolt/bolt situation but you never know. So..any querks or things to be careful about? Any hidden plugs? Does anyone know the torque specs of the bolts? I assume it'l come out with throttle body and all right?

There is a video of that procedure . I am pretty sure it may be under the upr duel valve cc install or something of that nature .

I had mine off twice in the last couple weeks, and I found this video most helpful.

There are plugs hidden underneath, but they slide right off the clips that hold them on. IIRC, the forward plug slid off backwards and the back plug slid off forwards. I pulled the throttle body off, but you might not need to. As for torque values, I haven't seen any and just relied on my finely calibrated elbow.

From what I've seen you can find most mods on YouTube in one way or another - including removals.

Things went without a hitch, super easy less than 10 minute job. I got scared when it didnt fall off after the last bolt, it wsd kinda stuck there, but i think its part of the design. A little wiggle and off it went. On the sadder news it was drenched in oil, let' hope the radium plate and new valve solves it.
Next up: removing the cylinder head!!!

Thanks for the helpful vid link! I've also been searching for a DIY vid on injector re&re with no success - if anyone has a link (or a PDF) of the necessary steps) that'd be most appreciated. I'd think the first 6 or 7 steps are the same as for I.M. removal, so maybe just a few more beyond that(?)
