No pictures yet (don't have the car yet or the wheels), just a few questions:-

Im looking at getting some Weld RTS 71s, 18x8/9 front, and 18x11 in the rear. Will the fronts fit with the brembos? Will the 11 wide fit in the rear?

As far as the Welds go, I won't really be being any track days but I love the look (more old school). Will I have any issues using these on the streets (I don't think I will, but I just want to be sure).

Finally, Im thinking of wrapping the backs in MT Street comp S/S tyres (305/40 18r). Does anyone have any knowledge about these tyres? I know these are street/strip tyres, but again Im going for look over substance and wanting that older school look.

Thanks in advance for any info provided.

This thread really needs more pics of wheels mounted on cars!

I'm surprised no one has posted any Forgestars yet.

My Advice, reach out to Weld, and speak to Phillip. He told me the 17" S71 wheel needed an 1/8" spacer in the front on non-PP cars. The PP cars do need an 18" wheel in the front for the 6-piston caliper. Not sure about a spacer.

FWIW, I've had both an S71 17x10.5 and an S77b 17x10 on the rear of my car. The 10.5" wheel had 7.5" BS, the 10" wheel had 8" BS. The 10.5" wheel stuck out just a bit. More than I wanted.

Weld will likely be able to tell you whether or not an 18x11 would fit, but my guess is yes.

Good luck and definitely post pics!

How much do the 18" machine foundry v6 wheels go for? I'm planning on getting rid of mine

Looks like a great track set up. What brand/model wheels are those, and what are your wheel/tires specs?

I have seen prices vary quite a bit. I will be listing my brand new ones (wheels/tires/sensors) for around $650 and see what happens

18 in foundry with red rimstripe

The 18in Foundry wheels are my favorite- probably because they have the retro Cragar look. I added a 1/8 rimstripe but I'm still undecided on whether I want to keep it or go stock. The rimstripes definitely look good on the all black wheels, though.

Factory 18's with 1" spacers all around. Makes them sit perfect IMO.
