Personally, I think they should all have come with the CS splitter from the factory. It bolts right on and looks a little more aggressive without being ridiculous. Needless to say, I really like mine. My car is also lowered slightly with the Ford Racing Track Suspension, and I only run 18"...
They are a little flexible. I have bumped mine against some high sidewalk curbs with no damage since it just flexes a little. I also almost exclusively run my car through car washes and haven't had any issues in about 4 years and probably 50 runs through a car wash haha. That link looks right.
Hi everyone!
I picked up a base 2015 Mustang GT back when I worked for Ford. The only option I went with was the 3.55 rear axle. Below is a list of everything I have done since (front to back). I am looking for recommendations! I use this car for open track days, my daily commute, and...
My stock pads were good for a few events. I switched to G-Loc and pull way more G's braking than I did with the stock ones. The squeaking can be kinda bad when just driving around town though and my lap times only went down by 1 second.
Do you ever feel your sidewall flexing and wish they were 35 series? Or do you hit a pothole and thank god you have the 40 series? Thanks for the feedback on the NT05s! I think that is the direction I am heading.
I'm not really all that concerned with the stock tire size. My car is lowered, so the smaller tires wouldn't look weird and it would get me another half inch lower to the ground. As far as gearing goes, I have a 3.55 diff so it would add 1 shift just over the hill at Waterford and probably max...
I believe the compound for NT01s is the same or very similar to R888s since they are both Toyo companies. Also I'm talking normal NT05s, not the drag radials.
Unfortunately, I have to be at a wedding, or I would be there for sure. I had Michelin Pilot Super Sports on a different car and really liked them for daily driving since they were quiet and still rode very nice. I'd consider them again for sure. I was really leaning towards NT05s hoping for...
Hello!
I currently have Nitto NT555 275/40r18 tires which have served me well while I was daily driving my Mustang with a few track events per year. I no longer commute with my Mustang and am looking to up the amount of events I attend. I am split between Nitto NT01 or NT05 tires. I still...
I may be in the minority here, but I change my oil with full synthetic MC 5w20 every 9,000 miles and subtract 1,000 miles for every track day (about an hour of track driving). I normally get 2 or 3 track days in between some daily driving miles before I need to change it.
I was considering...
Just installed R10s on the front and R8s on the rear after I wore my stock pads down to just about nothing in the front at the track. Optimum Performance was great about shipping and quick to respond to emails. I would definitely order from them again! I wanted something that would hold up on...
I continue to live in ignorant bliss running full 20 minute sessions with my 2015. I did replace the fluid with Royal Purple after a couple track days though.
