Ok so my car has been in the garage for less than 24 hours, and in the 15km I have driven it I have realised that I hate the stock steering wheel. Coming from a BMW M to this wheel is not a good change.

Has anyone fitted the GT350 wheel, and if so what are your thoughts? and where did you get it? and at what cost? (looks like $500 shipped is about the number).

thanks

I picked mine up from Levittown and fitted it myself over a year ago. The 350 is an improvement from stock however it isn't as good as an Audi RS steering wheel or BMW M steering wheel in my opinion.

Locally you can pick the steering wheel up from 2-STANG on this forum or herrod ($675 I think), not sure if Mustang Motorsports stock them

I honestly don't see what people like about alcantra. To me it's a rebrand of 70's suede. It looks crap on a seat and I can't see the point of it on a steering wheel. Give me leather any day.

Different strokes for different folks. I prefer Alcantara and the little bit of extra upkeep is worth it for the feel IMO.

Can anyone confirm what the GT wheel is trimmer in? It looks like fake leather from what I've seen but I've yet to actually touch one.

The GT wheel cannot possibly be leather from the feel of it. In my very brief period of ownership it is the standout let down.

I fitted one of the carbon fibre and leather, great look and great feel and the price wasn't too bad either, a member here hooked me up
