  1. Australian spec Mustang owners photos

One of the best looking stangs I have seen. Love the bonnet and the black rear spolier, really ties it all in.
  2. Vents blowing hot air

JOS, look forward to hearing what they have to say. Mine will go in for its 1 year service in a couple of weeks.
  3. Who's got the new 2018 coming?

Yep I did the same thing and got the same price. Mine has just gone 1 year old. Generally I keep cars for 3 years, by then the current shape will be widely discounted at dealers, or something better will have come along.
  4. Vents blowing hot air

This is exactly what I have just discovered on mine -heater works on the passenger side (and centre vents) but not the drivers side! I had thought the heater was just 100% not working, and I mentioned it too my wife, who suprisingly told me the air was warm on her side.
  5. Question re aerial..

Just get rid of that repulsive stock antenna and buy a stubby version. It looks a hell of a lot better and then you can get a standard car cover.
  6. Lund tune with an sct x4 hand-held.

Remeber that the roughly $500 - $600 for the NGuage INCLUDES the Lund tune (via Lund).
  7. Lund tune with issues???

To answer your point around what happens if the tune isnt better than your standard ford tune. The Lund process via the NGuage saves your stock tune file so that you can replace the Lund tune with the stock tune any time you like. The whole installing a tune process takes about 3 minutes.
  8. Lund tune with issues???

I also have a convertible GT with a Lund tune. If you search my user name on here I did a write up of my experience with the Lund tune -and yes guys like Burkey have helped us all. Any problems (as opposed to preferences) -none Worth getting -yes Is it perfect -no, but the Lund guys will...
  9. Who is upgrading to a 2018

Actually if you go back to page 6 the Ford dealer guy said $69.5k was RRP including a $2k dealer delivery charge. So its spot on retail -which is better than anyone else seems to be getting offered.
  10. Who is upgrading to a 2018

That looks like about $3k above RRP drive away pricing. I suppose thats not suprising given how early in the sales cycle it is.
  11. Riddle me this...what's your Idle RPM?

That's the same with my Lund tune, any idea why Lund up the idle rpms? (yes I might ask Lund as well). For me it sets a slightly annoying resonance from my exhaust which didnt exist pre tune.
  12. Lund tune on an Auto

1 possibly, depends what fails and if the dealer notices the tune. You can de instal the tune but the fact that a tune has been loaded is still discoverable 2 see my first detailed review. I remain of the view it makes little difference, using the paddles, to gear change initiation but quicker...
  13. 2018 order date

You forget the LCT, 33% on top of that giving (and GST); mag ride $3400 forged wheels $2100 Recaro $3600 not miles away from what the dealer said.
  14. 2018 Australia

As a matter of interest using the UK official pricing a loaded GT Auto with magnaride in Magnetic (with the same options as the current Oz spec) would be 44,690 pounds ex VAT. That is about $79,000 in our money -add on GST and we are sitting at north of $85k.
  15. What did you do to your Aussie S550 today..

    Any questions just ask
  16. What did you do to your Aussie S550 today..

J just checked my emails from Lund, I received my tune the same day my NGuage was advised as posted. Defintely follow them up, I have recieved also received multiple tune updates on an overnight basis.
  17. What did you do to your Aussie S550 today..

There are no "setup files", you will only have received an NGuage via courier and an email with a tune file attached. I received my first tune only a few days after my order and well before the NGuage arrived.
  18. 2018 Australia

One of the guys in the euro thread said like for like the 2018 was 10,000 pounds more or 20% over his 2016. That would imply closer to $80k in Australia.
  19. Replacement tyres for stock GT wheels

Just a quick update. My tyres (Continental Extreme Contact -the constisport 6 in EU/Aust markets) arrived about a week after purchase. they are fitted and all I can say is thank god those Pirelli's are gone. No more wheel spin at the slightest touch of the throttle. Highly recommend the tyres.
  20. Australian spec Mustang owners photos

Icon, sweet stance. I have never liked the stock wheels but recently I have seen two cars that have both been lowered really nicely and the stock wheels look pretty good on them. And yes you need the reflectors darkened (cheap as chips, get a tint kit from ebay).
