Scroth sells a 2 strap sub belt. I used angle brackets and eye bolts at each of the rear seat mount bolts. I slip the sub belt straps between the base and back of the seat and the clip onto the eye bolts. So I am sitting on the sub belt.
...
I think I understand your description.

Would it be a hassle to provide a photo of the rear brackets/bolts?
Does the strap length work out favorably?

Sub belt helps keep waste strap from riding up off hip bones.

Do you have link(s) for brackets/bolts?

Yeah I need that desperately.

đź’ˇ! Now I get it. When you said " eye bolts at each of the rear seat mount bolts " I thought you were referring to the rear bench seat. You meant the rear-most bolts of the front seat.

I'm sure I can find eyebolts at Ace, what size?
What do you recommend for those angle brackets?

Thinking eye bolts came with sub harness. Brackets were cut from scrap I had laying around.

This is the sub harness

Yes, I've been looking at it, good to know it comes with eye bolts. Thank you.

Is sitting on the belts uncomfortable or annoying?
Did you slip on some shoulder sleeves?

Not uncomfortable for my 150lb bony ass to sit on with the padded sleeves you see in picture.

Not a daily but I do take it to work maybe once a week and drive it to the track. The lumbar pad is necessary and if you're driving anything longer than 45 min, you'll need some padding for your butt too but otherwise, it's not terrible. The longer the drive, the worse it gets though. 3 hour drive home from the track was brutal.

For tolerability reference: I'm 30 yr old, 5-11", 180 lbs, prior motorcycle accident on both knees.

Same set up here. Still have yet to get padding but it is definitely needed
