Tonight there was a story on 9 about the Mustangs on the productions line with Robert Penfold, Channel 9's news correspondent on the production line at the Flat Rock Plant. The story shows some footage of some RHD being built alongside a lot of GT350's.

That magnetic one had chrome window surrounds.....most likely a UK build with their custom pack....

RHD Mustangs to get less power

Also motoring.com.au ran this article yesterday to show why the RHD mustangs are losing power. A potential concern for people who are looking at getting full exhaust's as the manifolds had to be changed due to the steering column.

If you look at the one shown at 0:16 - it has normal wheels & may be a GT.

Those side view mirrors stick out a bit I think, something like Prince Charles's ears.

Don't the Aussie build Stangs have the indicator in the side view mirrors? Didn't see the indicator set in those mirrors.

The majority of the RHD cars they showed are Ecoboosts (you can tell by the grill) and are for the UK market, including the car he says is one of the first for Australia, as it (and majority of the rest) have the Chrome trim around the windows (protective blue tape on them).

I just tried to re-watch the video link I posted and the Funny thing is, I got a VOLVO advertisement to watch before I could see the clip, like what the....? Where the HELL is the FORD Marketing Department?

Robert Penfold is no rookie Journo, at 01.20 he says, "So here it is one of the first Aussie Mustangs and it is the real deal, right hand drive all shiny and ready to go etc." " , the car is Magnetic and it HAS THE CHROME WINDOW STRIP (covered withe the blue protective tape????? The car has no 5.0 badge so I can only assume it is an Ecoboost as the EcoBoosts I saw in the USA had no badges on the quarter panel, and there were clearly no holes for a badge. Behind it must be my Black one!!!

Did anyone notice the weird bonnet on the yellow (Ecoboost I think). Had a vent towards the front in the centre, I haven't seen that before.

that looked to me like a GT350, look at the front bar and grill, its a dead give away

Thanks guys, I obviously got distracted by the bonnet vent and didn't see the badges/front end *facepalm

I really wish there was a way to convert the Shelby front end to the GT, its miles better then the alternatives if you ask me.
