;Will the pump run at 100% on 20-22vdc or will it vary under load
i have a drop in single dw400 setup for sale that would be plug and play for u

Thank you for the offer. But, my whipple stage 2 came with a DW400.;

Well Mike. It looks like the Fuelmax EZ Is the safest and most reliable way for me to go to increase boost using Race Fuel1: Is the GT500 fuel pump hat/bucket assembly a drop in unit into a 19 GT?
2: One assembly or one on each side?
3: what pumps do you feel would be best
4: What all parts would i need to buy, install to get them to work. 5: Does anyone have a list of parts I would need to get it to work.
I know this is allot of questions, but this seems like a viable alternative to run E85 at 850whp.
Thank you for your help.
That's what I runWell Mike. It looks like the Fuelmax EZ Is the safest and most reliable way for me to go to increase boost using Race Fuel
- JMS Fuelmax EZ Monitors the FPDM Duty Cycle to increase voltage to Fuel pump above 60% load.
- Below 60% load, idle etc, EZ provides OEM voltage to pump, 12-14.5vdc
- Above 60% EZ will ramp voltage accordingly to the fuel pump as fuel demand increases, up to or above 20vdc. JMS siad realistically with OEM wiring the max voltage supplied would be around 20.5vdc.
** My Tuner Likes this for my future increase in boost, utilizing Race Fuel
Say Whaaat.That's what I run
My tuner said the DW400 will not supply enough fuel on E85It drops into the drivers side. You only have to cap off one of the venturi lines.
Just the drivers side unless you want to replicate the gt500 passenger side setup.
I’m not convinced there’s a higher capacity brushed pump than the dw400, once you account for the check valve and venturi. The stock gen3/gt500 are very close behind in flow but much more efficient.
Gt500 fuel line, to get the filter setup, gt500 bucket, wiring/connectors, and tuning software and hardware.
I doubt it.
For 850 whp on e85 I’d just run a single dw400 at 20-22 volts. Very simple and low cost.
Working fine for me so far. You do have to tune for it and have adequate injectors though. My tuner said the DW400 will not supply enough fuel on E85
for 800-850whp even at 20vdc?.
Not sure you are really considering the likelyhood of a failure at that voltage. Will it work, sure, but for how long? Using a BAP at 20 or even 22 volts doesn't seem like a long term reliable solution. My tuner said the DW400 will not supply enough fuel on E85

DW said using a Variable voltage booster like JMS Fuelmax EZ, which only ramps up the voltage output signal when above 60% fuel Load. From 60% fuel load and up, the JMS will ramp the voltage from oem 12-14.5vdc up to a max of 20vdc.Not sure you are really considering the likelyhood of a failure at that voltage. I might also install dual pump Hat with bucket set up with DW pumps, but using a variable voltage BAP I think I will stay with it regardless. Because realistically, as JMS rep said, most people who use them on the street hardly utilizes the max voltage, but have the max fuel flow when demanded. Plus the DW rep said they see no issue with their DW400 being used with a JMS or equivalent variable voltage boster set up.its the constant 18 or so vdc is where they have concern with reliabikity/longevity.800hp e85 but running dual pump gt500 setup
Hey Mike. DW said I would have no issue running 800-850whp with their DW400 pump and JMS Fuelmax EX on E85. I hope my tuner agrees. It drops into the drivers side. You only have to cap off one of the venturi lines.

Hi Doug N,
That would be dependent upon what pressure its operating at.
What power level are you trying to make?

Can you tell me, on E85, what is the fuel flow HP limit at 12vdc and at 20vdc the DW400 can provide (safely) with E85?.
Just wanting to know.
Thank you
