Remove decals to decrease cops attention, sleeper, etc? Will the m1 become a collector? You think people would want w/without decals? Real hood vents?

I just bought my 2022 MACH 1!
10sp. With all the options.
I hate attracting cops!
I want to blend in.
What do you think about removing all the decals and badges plus in minuses?
any point to making the two hood scoops actual vents? Would it make any difference in keeping the engine actually cooler or did the designers keep them closed/fake for function and performance reasons?
Anything else worth changing or gathering parts for a known weakness in the car?
Your Invitation thoughts?
Thank you.

I went the other way and made my Mach 1 decals brighter, no cops have pulled me over. And yes our hood vents are functional. The Mach 1 is a limited edition and numbered car.

Flip that active exhaust to quiet. That's the only way to try to keep them away. Removing the stickers will do nothing, the car is an attention grabber because it looks 🔥

Well plus of course watch your speed :like:

The attention only comes when driving like an ass. My car is louder than a stock active exhaust model & no cop ever bats an eye. Have had them drive behind me & they eventually turn off a different direction.

The vents in the hood are real.
barely. My SCAT you can see the column of hot-air shimmering.

For street duty no point screwing with them. For track duty they are laughable.

The 'penis' sticker doesn't add cop visiblity.

No the M1 won't be collectible. Just like the GT350 won't be.

I suggest for you

1) Catch can (Passenger side)
2) Hood struts
3) Steeda Trunk popper (it shoots up when you open the trunk)
4) I heard disconnecting the center speaker improves B&O sound quality

The car comes really nicely packaged I can't think of any other mods to do to it other than E85 and a blower. Ofcourse suspension can be improved but for a street car if you are not tracking it, its not necessary. If you add significant power may be a good idea to stiffen up some though.

Also hood vents are real, I replaced mine with the black ones shown in my profile pic.

Cheers enjoy the car.

Since are engines have port and direct injection I would think a catch can is not necessary.
How am I wrong?
Thank you.

Like others have stated:
  • It will blend in with other Mustangs
  • Don't drive like an asshole
  • Quiet mode helps
  • Removing stickers does nothing, except deleting the penis on the hood.
Things to remember:
  • C&C is not the place to test performing a burn-out, or clutch dump.
  • It is a PARTS-BIN car, that's fun to drive.
  • You will get nothing but slamming from the GT and Shelby crowd, apply your thick skin now.
  • Last, but not least- Enjoy YOUR car and don't worry about what others think.
  • Thank you for reading this important Mach 1 ownership message.....:cwl::sunglasses:

Oil still flows through the intake from the crankcase ventilation system. Small amount of oil collects on mine, it keeps your intake cleaner.

I would remove the stickers just because I think they’re ugly. Other than that I think it’s the pinnacle of S550 engineering outside of the Gt500. They don’t seem to hold collector value yet, and I’m not sure if they ever will considering most people don’t get what makes them special, unlike a Shelby that carries the legendary name.
