I have helped install both. I have a paxton on my car and my buddy has a procharger D1SC. There are benefits to each kit. If i were to do it again i would try turbo or whipple but then again the grass is always greener on the other side.
Procharger Pros:
- Easier Install
- Don't have to cut fan shroud or airbox
- Low temperature operation
- Inlet seems much less restrictive and pulls air out of fender well
- Easier to change pulley while on the car
- Stock BOV seem quieter at idle and cruise
- Potentially less belt slip with 8 Rib
CONS Procharger
- Steel piping rusts
- More rubberconnections than paxton kit
- Possible additional stress on crank using additional pulley with stage two kit
- Cost more
Paxton Pros
- Aluminum piping
- Less stress on crank using aftermarket tensioner
- Head unit flows slightly more
- Cheaper
- Kit appears to have higher quality hardware

-Inlet is tight and more restrictive
- Coolant tank relocated
- Must trim fan shroud and air box
