I would agree...when they are side by side, it looks a little "dingy"

One word. Amazing. White is one color Black wheels always looks good with.

Exactly why I changed my tune on the black PP wheels.

Black wheels loose all shape and definition on a black car. I'd never put black wheels on a white car. Black wheels go great on dark cars your eyes compensate for the darkness and the wheels show up, on a white car your pupils contract leaving a black hole where the wheels ought to be.

My Mustang that is ordered is white and has the Perf Pack. I'm reserving my final thoughts until the car arrives on the wheels. If I don't like the black wheels I will have them powder coated.

I went back and forth on this on color scheme on my C7, but since they allowed wheel options I ended up with this (brand new, not detailed, debadged or lowered yet):

I've always liked plain silver wheels. Not chrome... ever. I had painted gray wheels on my C6 and they were a pain to keep looking nice and the darker color showed every rock chip that the wheels picked up. Guys with the black wheels on the Z51s are complaining about the chips and also how the black paint will show swirls just like a black body car, since they are just painted and they get covered in abrasives (brake dust) constantly. I'll have to see how this really works out first hand.
