I really like how they turned out! Install was less than 2 minutes on each side!
Disregard the redness in the photo....taken at night in my garage and the phone camera added a red tint for some reason.
Since the 2018 3rd generation 5.0, Ford uses a variable pressure pump for the oil system. It is high at cold start due to thicker viscosity when not at operating temperature...and after that is regulated by RPM's and the variable pressure pump. So at warm and at idle it will be lower and as...
Received email from Anthony that my kit would be shipped out on August 18th...it was...and it arrived on August 21st.
Chassis P2056 Ordered 1st week of Novmember 2022....arrived at dealership on March 20th 2023.
I won't have it on track until September, but you can feel a change in both the normal and sport settings. In normal for highway and interstate driving it soaks up bumps and the joints so much better and still gives a very smooth and comfortable ride. In the twities, Sport seems a bit firmer and...
Stopped by Steeda on July 7th for some suspension upgrades to my 2023 Mach 1. Installed their dual rate lowering springs, vertical links, camber plates and Steeda's Magnaride tune for the Mach 1. Chris and all the guys there were just terrific. They had a really nice, comfortable waiting room...
I talked with Yvonne from Ford Performance. She does the procurement, assembly and shipping of the kits. She is still working on getting out kits to people with # N serial numbers. # P kits will be a couple of months at least yet.
I attended Ford Enthusiats Nationals and Shelbyfest event in Jefferson City Missouri last weekend. I was one of only 2 or 3 S550 Mach 1's there, but received a huge amount of compliments and attention to my Iconic Silver Handling Package Mach 1 during the whole 3 day event. The fellow and his...
My car was shown by Ford ETA to dealership to be April 11th through April 21st.....it arrived at dealership on March 20th....so mine was a full month ahead of what they were telling me.
Congrats! Mine came last week. It was down the line just ahead of your a bit with #P2056. Check to make sure your dealership removes the yellow shipping blocks in the front springs. It's a problem that a few have seen. I asked for mine to be saved and given to me, so that I could put them back...
Got a couple of things done late this af
No....I went over the install with the manager of the place doing it. The Expel will come up to the vents, but be cut out around the hood decal....he had no issue with cutting around the hood decal.
The filter sets in a sleeve, that sets inside the air tube going to the throttle body. The filter is not hard to remove from the sleeve, but getting the sleeve out of the air tube to get to the filter is real bugger. There are 3 really stiff tabs inside the sleeve that all need to be pried up at...
License plates went on today.
Hydrocarbon filter came out and an AirRaid filter went on.
Replaced the not so attractive auto shift lever with a Hurst pistol grip shifter. Looks great and works really well!
Lots more to come, but tomorrow it goes for Expel clear protective film on the front...
Yes...they did ask before hand. I'm required to have a front plate here in Iowa, so I told them to go ahead and put it on. I have custom ordered, lettered "blackout" plates (black with white lettering) to go on, ( MACH 23 ) so it's not so bad to have one on the front. Also, I did ask them not to...
Oh...How cool! Mine arrived at the dealership here in Iowa on 3/23...I brought it home yesterday afternoon. Gee...if we could just find P2055 now. LOL I actually took it pretty easy on the 15 mile drive home yesterday. We have a lot of sand and crap on our highways yet from the highway...
Ford's ETA to the dealership was April 11th - April 21st.....it actually arrived at the dealership last Thursday March 23rd. Brought it home today. So...pretty much a month ahead of what Ford was projecting in an email to me and VIN tracker.
