that's what happens when you live in CA. Not exactly a car lover's paradise other than the wonderful roads, of course.
it doesn't come out enough imo. my past cars have been able to pull out to the point where it was 4" away from my chest, which isn't possible in my 15 unless I want to destroy my legs/knees from being crammed in the footwell.

this can't be done without additional hardware. the change in value is known, but you need to buy a whole module that controls the window up safety features (not smashing your hand if it detects it). as far as I know, no one in the forscan thread has tried buying a new module and trying. then...

do you have another fob in the car?
how are you locking it? do you touch the door handle lock thing, or use the fob?
just do the forscan changes. see my signature for the ancient list of possible changes (I'm sure someone else has taken over a new sheet by now...
