What hood would you recommend?

Thats the other problem... All these high dollar hoods and no proof that any of them do any better than stock except change the look...

Tiger racing say there's is a heat extractor hood

Id like to see some kind of functional gt500 style hood with vents the length of the radiator

Just got the new Heat Exchanger installed and LOVING not having those damn fans humming anymore! Haven't had much of a chance to test out temp differences but will post up results once I do.

Tracked this thread for a about 2 weeks before ordering the new HE in hopes of seeing a pic of it installed with a grille delete, so figured I would post up a few pics in case anyone else wanted an idea of how it looks. I personally love it...

VAGunny, does yours have the same thickness mounting tabs as the old h/e and the IC tank at 0.125 or the thinner .075 like mine? I assumed it would at least have the same tabs as the lighter weight original.

My car just came off the dyno yesterday. We should have #'s with straight water in it, as well as some ice in the tank. As soon as I get them, I will post them up for everyone..

Not sure, will need to check when I get back home tonight. You are referring to the mounting tabs that are welded to the H/E itself correct (not the mounting bracket)?
