Forgot to mention that I have ALL the stock parts for the car and will include those in the sale in the event the buyer ever wants to return it to stock.
Finally decided it's time to put the Mustang up for sale. 2015 Mustang Premium with 22,450 miles garage kept and pampered it's entire life. Between work, running around 3 kids, and other hobbies this car just sits in the garage now so it's time to move on and let someone else enjoy it. Clean...
Well done!! Great times and darn impressive you are nearing 9's with you setup and manual. You're still on the stock MT-82 other than spec clutch, right?
Keep me posted on how he does with the new tires! They made a huge difference for me so hopefully does the same for him. Was he running the 3.62 pulley when we went out?
I'd love to go but will be right in the middle of moving so no chance that will happen. Good luck if you're heading down. Making any changes to your setup before heading back out?
Oh, and I had the tire pressure at about 18psi on the last run. Dropped it to 16 or 17 psi prior to that and got a little more sway at the top end then I was comfortable with.
Did a 3-5 second burn out until I started seeing smoke then ran it out on every run.
Picked up a pair of the ET Street R Bias ply's recently. 28x11.5-17's mounted on racestars.
Gave them a handful of good run's at MIR last week and they were dead hooking! Never ran the Hoosier's or any other bias ply/slick type tire for that matter so the only comparison I have is against...
Had a great time at the track yesterday, thanks again for setting this up gentleman! Everyone is my crew ran a new PB and nothing broke so pretty pumped about that.
RockStang, major bummer you had such a rough day! Did the belt snap end up doing any other damage?? I had to fight with the...
They are definitely quick cars! I haven't researched them much but my brother was telling me he has come across a number of postings with the Challenger & Charger Hellcats dipping into high 10's & low 11's with nothing other than some tires.
Looking forward to this drag day, sounds like a...
Oh, and thought I would share this. My old man was looking over some slow mo videos of his launches and check out what he discovered!
Way to cool. Popping wheelies with a Bone stock C7 Z06 with the 335 Nitto NT05R's out back...
Yeah, his is an auto and the best he could muster with the factory street tires was a 12.0 pass. Car obviously has a lot more in it.
Pushing him to get some DR's on there but he is still debating on it. My guess is that he will end up slapping some on before the drag day.
Yup, nothing broke which was good news! Tommy V was a HUGE help schooling me up trying different burnout and launch techniques to try and get the car dialed in. Thanks again!
First launch with the MT S/S tires was just off idle and cut a 1.9x 60' time. Car ran an 11.37 @ 133.
Second was at...
Yeah, just confirmed with my old man it was a 330' prep.
I have another car to add to the list. My older brother Ryan will be coming out with his Hellcat
