AA uses a lot of data through the cable so it must flow consistently and correctly. Tryout the stock Samsung cable for a few days and see if it resolves it.

Yep been using a different cable and it seems to be working better. So far no crashes.

you can also simply say "ok google" without pushing any buttons, very cool!

Also can be done with Siri if you have "Hey Siri" enabled in the device settings.

Are any of you noticing the Sync color changing? Sometimes when I turn it on it's black, other times it's the blue scheme my version 1 had.

blue with white during daylight, black with white at night

During the day it's dark and during low light it's bright. There is a setting for that. Same reason why your gauges turn white during the day, and during the night MyColour kicks in.

when sensors detect is dark out, HID's turn on and Sync turns black. There is a display setting to always keep one or the other.
