Yes sir. They will be making them for standard Mustangs as well....
Cool that's good to know as i think it would git my track theme / help with air hitting the tire and redirect it some. Gonna go hit them up now

off topic, but do you have a pic of your hood latches from the under side of the hood?

I'd appreciate it. Interested in how you mounted. Like that placement quite a bit more than where everyone is installing the aerocatch pins :)

Yeah the guy i bought the hood from picked those locations and larger quick latch pins. Not sure if there was reasoning why they were mounted where they were but we just duplicated it for my car. They hold up fine at the track and great on the hwy .
I know my rad support is a bit different than the shelbys but none less i grab some.

I feel like I’d have to see it in person to determine whether it’s tacky. If they help protect the R splitter though that may be a plus.

Looking again, it does seem that they would definitely help move oncoming air away from the front of the tire and over it, a typically rough turbulence zone. And I'm starting to kinda like it.....

I like to disassemble things.
It's no exact copy but I'd still be wary of the patent Ford paid for and holds the rights to.

As to how it looks - I dig it.

Aesthetically I think it looks better paired with the non-R splitter from the pics, but I’m with you on wanting to see it in person on the R splitter.

A few more pics. A couple of these are with the non-R splitter...

For those interested in an aero idea taken from the new GT500, the guys at ZL1 Addons are making some dive planes/splitter extensions like the ones that the GT500 will use but will fit the GT350. Just sharing here for those interested....

I hope they stick better than their rock guards did.... Just sayin....

Someone with real knowledge of aero needs to comment on what the gizmo's are supposed to do. From the look of it, they'll make a really cool spray pattern over the car in a heavy rain, but they're kinda narrow looking to be significant sources of downforce. Maybe Ford stuck them on the show car just for fun

I HIGHLY doubt they'll bring a noticeable difference to brake cooling. I could be wrong but something tells me a $150 plastic add-on will have a noticeable cooling effect.
