Absolutely Matt, I agree. You could be right. Though the 5.2 Aluminator XS CPC engine unveiled last year hits 8000 rpm out of the box. So I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that they're using a CPC and still setting 8250 as the redline.
Rules and regulations is what mandates specifics for the class of racing.interstingly enough, it has the same tremec 3160. the GT4 had paddle shifters
I'll take your word for it, I was just pointing out that the GT4 has a different engine and trans than the FP350S, and that the fact that the article states it has a tremec 3160 is a bit more evidence to go with the 8250 RPM statement that its perhaps more likely to be a FPCRules and regulations is what mandates specifics for the class of racing.
There are plenty of 18 inch wheels that will fit under the stock brakes:Optional 18" Forgelines. I'd be interested in downsizing the brakes on my car with whatever it has in order to run 18" wheels.
^+1 MILLION LOLI'm going to assume you think we're talking about GT brakes and not GT350 brakes. We have not seen a single set of 18s that will get over those.
Why would you downsize the brakes??Optional 18" Forgelines. I'd be interested in downsizing the brakes on my car with whatever it has in order to run 18" wheels.
Primarily, slicks are plentiful in 18 inch. Not so much in 19 inch. You can apparently get Hoosier R7s in 295/35/19 but they're $400 a pop. There's a much larger selection when you're dealing with 18s and you can get scrubs from race cars dirt cheap with plenty of life left in them. Why would you downsize the brakes??
Just get the 19" forgelines. I bought mine last winter. 11x19 forgeline GA1R open lugs. Same as what's on this car and the GT4 except 19"
