If you just want a car to go fast in a straight line, a GT with a blower is definitely a viable option.
The GT350 is a completely different car that isn't meant for the 1/4 mile or red light racing. It was built to be a track car.
Plus with modding cars, you are just lighting your money on fire. Trust me, I've wasted a ton. Not that buying a 50k+ sports car is a great idea financially either, but a stock GT350 should hold it's value pretty well compared to other cars.
