AWD Mustang.... Ponder what has already been done.... Well there is already a 845HP AWD Mustang.... developed by ford.. Check this out. [ame=""]

  3. My prediction for the engine

Agree 110% on the filter. I would have built a Cold air box for it like LHT performance did on that S2000.
  4. My prediction for the engine

Why is compression a factor? I was looking at some other boosted FPC motors (albeit small 2.2L motors) that has 12:1 compression and they are running 14 psi of boost with no issues? Hell LHTperformance has a boosted S2000 pushing 449WHP/287WTQ out of a 2.2L with a Centrifical supercharger...
  5. GT350 dyno - Lethal offroad midpipes, JLT cai, SCT x4, Rev Auto tune

It is a day past Tomorrow's Yesterday's Update. It is a day past Tomorrow's Yesterday's Update. Ok seriously... where are the updates.... :paddle:
  6. GT350 Dyno Tune - JPC Racing/HP Tuners

Wish Ford would develop a V-8 VTEC (I.e Split Cam, low end lobes for torque, High end lobe for high RPM breathing for top HP) but Honda owns the patents and wont release them to anyone.
  7. 2021 MUSTANG (S650) - 7th Generation Mustang Confirmed

Notice the Fusion coming back to America!! "The next‐generation MKZ (CD622) was moved from the Hermosillo plant to Flat Rock Assembly with an SOP of July 2019 (was August 2018), facelift of July 2022 (was July 2021), and EOP of June 2026 (was July 2024)." Wow, they are moving the MKZ back...
  8. GT350 Dyno Tune - JPC Racing/HP Tuners

Ok, who ever posted these dynos graphs, please have someone correct them. HP and TQ do not cross at 7200 RPM. So the curves on these dyno's have got to be either shifted or way off. Nice power but really screwy on what the actual HP and TQ is at specific RPM.
  9. TT GT350???

Wellllll... Turbo's do max out, so to speak. The peak flow across a inducer is based on the flow map of the turbo, so once you go over that sweet spot of the Turbo you create a lot more heat and the efficiency goes down. You size the turbo for the peak power and flow you want (i.e. bigger...
  10. 4.09 Rear Gear Set

3600 is the beginning of the jump in the torque. If you look at the torque curve it jumps 100 ft/lb's from 2500-3500 RPM's
  11. 4.09 Rear Gear Set

Well considering the torque really comes on at 3500 RPM, with stock tires, you would be turning 60/143*8250=3450 RPM... right where the torque comes on with 3.73. Now with 4.09 gears, 60/131*8250=3780 RPM which is a bit higher. In cruising gears, 3.73, 70(cruising)/178(Top speed in...
  12. 4.09 Rear Gear Set

Tire diameter vs stock. 305/35-19 = 27.405 inches diameter, 305/30-19 = 26.204 inches diameter. Therefore your tires is 95.6% of the stock diameter tire. So at 100 MPH your are actually doing 95.6 MPH on your Speedometer. (unless you have recalibrated it in software). so at 117 MPH (end of...
  13. 4.09 Rear Gear Set

Why not just use the gear ratios based on speed and tire size to figure out how fast you would be going at say 117MPH at the end of the 1/4 mile? 3.73 Gears = (8250-6312/143-110)*End Trap speed(117)= 6871 RPM 4.09 Gears = (8250-6312/131-101)*End Trap speed(117)= 7558 RPM Now this also...
  14. Hennessey 2016 Shelby GT350 HPE800 Supercharged Upgrade

With a 50% HP boost, assume 7.5-8 psi of boost pressure. A good rule of thumb on high compression Motors is half of 14.7 psi (atmospheric pressure) will net you 50% higher HP. Would love to see video of this running at the track. Wonder if those times are with Street rated Drag radial tires...
  15. Hennessey Dyno GT350

Also it looks with some bolt ons, you could be making 110-115 HP/L (which is approaching crazy numbers normally aspirated). :D Makes me wonder what the top side for flow is on the factory heads?
  16. GT350 Vs. Chevy Camaro SS

Camaro SS 8 sp Auto to GT350 6 speed? Yeah but then we are talking automatic vs. 6 speed, sure its quicker, it picks up what 0.2 on the shifts 0-60 and probably 0.3-0.4 in the 1/4 mile due to the transmission? Not saying that's not a good thing just no longer the apple-apple comparison.
  17. GT350R at Road & Track Performance Car of the Year (Updated: Winner!)

Well If you want to see what a High strung NA FPC motor will tolerate with boost, Look at the Honda S2000, MY 2005-2009 (2.2L motor, 8200 RPM Redline, 12-1 compression) The S2000 Motor is built almost exactly the same as the Ford motor as far as internals, low weight internals, low friction...
  18. 93 Octane and higher

Wha??? E85 has less power per gallon of fuel than Gasoline. Now if you are running a Turbo with lots of Boost, Sure! Allows for high boost level because it burns so much slower and cooler. 1 gallon of E85 has 73% to 83% of the energy of one gallon of gasoline (variation due to...
  19. Engine breakin protocol

Break in period for High RPM Engine On a FPC 2.2L Honda motor from the factory, do not exceed 4000RPM for the first 3000 Miles. Once past 3000 Miles, change oil (mine to full synthetic), and then enjoy to hearts content to 8200 RPM's. Only thing I can think of that is a FPC motor to compare...
