I saw at least one member posting about distracting hood glare. As I make my decision on what to get; I was wondering how bad the glare is and if a specific color is worst than the other. Any thoughts? I am fairly open on color options for my next car so if one color has less distracting glare I'll probably try to find that since I do drive a lot.

Edit: the title is Hood Glare. Bad iPad keyboard. Bad. Someone fix it pls.

Some says the hood glare from the Mustang can turn men into stone. And if there is one color that will get rid of that curse it will be CO.

Best solution is to steel wool the hood to mar the reflective finish.

Polarized sunglasses.

LOL yeah I would crash. Can't see crap without glasses. I would have to get prescription sunglasses. Just wanted to see what other members experienced but not a deal breaker if it was true. I am just waiting on the dealer to tell me that they found the car I want so I can take it from their hands. I noticed some reflections on my test drive but nothing bad. Then again it was a bit overcast.

Cheers. Thanks all for the input.

No glare with my TY. Bad glare in my 13 with an armor-all dash. Polarized sunglasses and contact lenses for the win. :)

The sun has not been out since I picked up my TY V6 last Thursday here in NE Ohio, so no glare!

You live in FL and don't have driving prescription sunglasses? WTF man! Polarized lenses is where it's at for driving. Most vision insurances have allowances for sunglasses frames too.

No offense to the OP but this thread is mind boggling to me. I don't get the reason for posting this and trying to determine what color to get because of "hood glare"? I have owned tons and tons of cars and not once has anything like this ever entered into my mind. I keep my cars in mint condition and the finish is always flawless and the hoods is always like glass...

Again, sorry but this makes zero sense.
