Will cleaned up the car took it for a drive. It’s been a while 2018 with the Pp1 package. Considering giving it to my daughter car only has 5,023 miles originally on it don’t use it much. Normally on a weekend drive well I hope she enjoys it.

I would just like to say congratulations to all involved. What a wonderful experience for everyone!

Having said that, it's a lot of car and has some performance characteristics that take some getting used to. I'm sure you explained all of that to her and I hope she listened closely. I wish everyone nothing but the best.

That’s awesome. Hopefully she cares for it like you did!
She’s not one to smile she’s always been that way. She does love the car. I have told her how to drive manual on my pick up truck. I know this car has much more power and I’m hoping that she abbeys all the rules. Thank you for your concern. Much appreciated.

There is a man who loves his Girl! I would do the same. She is a lucky Girl! Just make sure she understands what she is getting so she can respect the power.

Get a tune on it, and have the tuner limit the top speed to 80 MPH, and limit the throttle position to 50%. No way I would give a teenager a car this powerful. She may be completely responsible, but all it takes is one time she lets her boyfriend drive it, or is tempted by friends to drive it fast. My dad gave me his Z28 Camaro back when I was 18- it took me exactly 3 days to launch it into a corn field and lodge it backwards into a culvert with 3 of my friends inside. Totaled the car. Thankfully no one was hurt, but IMHO this is not a car for a young person. Trade it in on a Volvo station wagon

I gave my 2004 Mach 1 drag car with 7K miles on it to my son at age 15 1/2, but before I did, I took it back to the shop that dyno tuned it and had them lower the rev limiter to 4K rpm, so that he wouldn’t be able to get into too much trouble with the car. The only mistake I made there was, I failed to take the tuner box to work (away from my son) instead of leaving it on the shelf in my closet. The evening before he shipped off to Navy boot camp, he brought me the tuner box and told me that he had loaded the race and nitrous tunes back into the car and had been racing/using nitrous. All I could do was laugh at him, as the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

A generous father, indeed. I didn't even get my Mom's '72 Pinto.
