Sorry won’t be till Jan when I will have numbers :( but car feels good. The intake is so big I think it’s causing some throttle hang, but it may learn as I drive it some more!Let us know if you see any improvements.
Are you using the 15 maf in the 18 tube? I know the maf tube in the 18 is larger than the 15 but I was not sure if the maf was the same style or fitment.Sorry won’t be till Jan when I will have numbers :( but car feels good. If you have the MAF size dialed in with your tuner it shouldn't have issues.15 MAF
No, it won't get you any performance increase at any rpm, but will more than likely, give you some serious surging/tuning headaches in trying to make it work.Curious, wonder whether a GT350 TB would make any noticeable difference in conjunction with the F-150 IM?
If you are talking about porting the F-150 manifold, you might get a slight increase of about 5-8hp! Yep, that is all...I'm really happy with the F-150 IM on my daily driven street car. The low -> mid-range punch is awesome compared to the GT manifold. Just wish there was a bit more in it up top. Wonder if porting would make any difference?
Me too, only I am planning to go with a ProCharger set-up as a post-divorce present to myself.Anyway, I'm really happy I went down this path. I'll eventually go with a roots style supercharger when I have the funds to do so, but for now this performs great!
Haha! Good stuff! Which ProCharger system are you thinking of doing? The P1SC HO or P1SC Stage 2?Me too, only I am planning to go with a ProCharger set-up as a post-divorce present to myself.
I'll go with the P-1SC-1 Stage II.Haha! Good stuff! Which ProCharger system are you thinking of doing? The P1SC HO or P1SC Stage 2?
Might as well go Stage 2 with the bigger intercooler and more boost! ;)
Some guys are running in the high 9s with that system! Amazing!
The S197 Mustang GT never had IMRC's, so I think any 5.0 manifold would work so long as you locked the IMRC's open on the later ('15-'19) manifolds. There would be no electrical harnesses/connections to worry about as well.Anyone ever tried the f150 intake manifold on a 11-14 s197 is so will the 15-17 intake work or would the 18 f150 intake manifold be better
How does the car feel daily driving can you tell the difference in torque compared to stockJust dynoed my car. Only mods are F150 IM, Mishimoto intake tube, AFE dry air filter, and Roush axleback exhaust. No tune yet. It was about 95* here in FL. Based on the corrected dynojet #, it comes out to about 463hp at the crank correct? Thoughts?
