Looking forward to seeing them installed....I'm in the same boat. I cannot stand the sound of any aftermarket exhaust on EBM. Those tips look pretty nice. Hopefully they don't stick out too much.

Where did you order these from?

They are some what long. The new mufflers might have to be set back to get the proper fit.

These are the ones I decided on. The length seems about right.

Yeah. Those are more like the length of the stock tips.

Yeah but that's a 4cyl tho....kind of hard to get around the exhaust sound. I don't like any of the aftermarket solutions right now. I think am just going to do a 3" catback with no resonators or mufflers. I ran it on my srt and genesis and I liked it, should be similar.

going strait pipe on a 4 cyl about the only way to get a throaty-ish sound from them. Plenty of people will think its way to loud and tickets will be written though.

Updated my post / pics. UPS delivered 1 muffler. Weather sucks here anyways. Guess it don't matter.

So I had these welded on but didn't like how far out they stuck out. Even though they are the same length as the stock tips, they look like they stick out more because they have a larger outlet and don't have that angled cut. I moved them in an inch and think they look best this way.

FYI: these are the Magnaflow tips in my previous post earlier in this thread.

A boosted I4 is NEVER going to sound like a 6 or 8. That said, they can sound good. I'm pretty happy with my exhaust. That STR4 with straight pipes sounds horrible @ high revs, too raspy. (IMO) but, idles nice and low.
