I have a GT350R on order with 2 different Dealers. I have given each $1000 deposit and agreed to pay their ADM. I do not intend to take delivery of 2 cars but I am hopeful that one of the 2 actually comes through with a car. They both tell me that they have "entered" the order but do not have a VIN for me yet.
I do have a copy of the VOC (vehicle order confirmation) but no DORA.
When you guys received the "DORA" did they come with a VIN as well?
Just doing my best to learn what I am up against.

VIN comes (long) afterwards. Unless you're supremely lucky and get one within a few weeks.

So, what happens when you get one of those cars, you lose that 1,000 deposit on the other R car, right? The reason I ask is because a car like that is not what most dealerships want sitting on their showroom floor. When I was going to put a deposit on a 2015 SRT Jeep, the deposit was non-refundable because the dealership did not want to be "stuck with it" if I opted out.

I have agreements with both dealers that if I find one elsewhere 1st
I can get out of the other. Both are confident that they will have no problem moving it if I back out. And actually the more I read, the more skeptical I become that either will car will come in. Here's to hoping though....

None. As long as you have a order number and dealer number you can always find out the status of your order. That being said, I wanted to have a copy for sentimental value.

None. As long as you have a order number and dealer number you can always find out the status of your order.

Is that something I can do online? If so, please share as to how. I do have an order number and dealer number. Priority lists 10.

Max you need to ask them for the DoRA number, if they ordered one of them, they have it. second with the dora or order number the dealer number and your last name, Private message Deysha with Ford Service on these boards, and she will verify that your order has been placed. Be patient as she doesn't work weekends, and has a lot of Customers to track. She does an amazing job though, and is thorough and kind. Above all be polite and thankful when she gets to your request as later you may need to ask her about something else or for help.

TIMM is correct. Deysha informed me priority numbers are not used for limited production cars like ours. Instead ask dealer to ask their Ford rep for which quarter allocation we purchased. Asked but my dealer hasn't gotten back to me.

Another option is call Ford Performance. 800-ford-svt.
